Something I made while listening to the Beastie Boys new single, "Make Some Noise".
When I was listening to the song I thought to myself this is pretty funky but not in like a James Brown type of funk but something else. So I opened up Illustrator and I went to work. The feel I got from the song was dirty almost a grunge but like a street grunge. It felt as if I was tagging (graffiti reference) my computer screen. It was almost as if I was in the city tagging a wall with lyrics from the song. I think it turned out pretty cool.

My three t-shirt designs.
With the t-shirt designs I just hopped into illustrator and messed around for a while until I came up with the designs that you see before you. The company is a fake one but it's mine and yes I came up with the name.
Final words regarding my mock campaign.
With the final piece to my mock campaign for Billabong I can say that I am glad to be done with it. This was probably my most challenging project yet. I had a few ideas that I threw out due to time constrictions bu overall I think it turned out well. I feel that I provided the feeling that I wanted to provide to my consumers.
About My Personal Logo
The logo choice is my own. To me it shows that I have a fun side to my design aspect. It also shows the progression of how my personal logo came to be. Overall I am completely satisfied with it.

Last Quarter Final Project
So what I have decided to go ahead and do for a final project this quarter (my last quarter to be exact) is work on something that I want to eventually end up doing for a living. I chose to do a t-shirt design as well as a mock campaign for Billabong. One of my passions is Print Design so it was natural for me to pick what I did. My t-shirt design has come along from a basic design to a more complex piece of artwork. The company name I am using is called, "Swirtex Designs". As of the Billabong campaign it is still a work in progress but I should be able to complete it on time and have some pretty radical ads to show off.
